You will have to take your pet to a vet so that he/she can be checked over and given any injections for overseas travel.
They MUST have a Rabies injection, then a blood test after a period of time to check that they do not have Rabies.
The vet will then give you a certificate which needs to be sent or faxed to Northern Cyprus to The Chief Veterinary Surgeon ‘Dogan Pasha’.
If you are visiting Northern Cyprus before you bring over your pet it would be best to arrange to visit Dogan Pasha and take a photograph of your pet with you.
Note: There is no need for your pet to have a chip, as there is no facility in The TRNC to read it.
It is advisable that you travel on the same flight as your pet re the delivery of your pet to the quarantine centre or they may be left at the airport for some time.
The price for transporting your pet is between £400.00 to £600.00 approx with Airpets.

The quarantine period is 3 weeks.
Note: The facilities in Northern Cyprus are not the same as in other Countries.
There is a charge of approximately £1 per day per pet.
The quarantine center is in Lefkosa (Nicosia)
There will be a further charge of 18YTL approx £8 for the tranportation from the airport to the quarantine centre, of the pet.
You are advised to visit the centre in Lefkosa at least twice a day.
You have to feed your pets and give them drinks.
You have to clean out their accommodation.
You have to take them for walks, this is only allowed in the compound.
Please note that nobody else will do this at the quarantine centre, it is down to you.
The opening times are from 08.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m.
