A new golf course is being constructed at Esentepe. This will be an 18 hole international professional course with a 32 bay driving range and a 3 hole golf academy.
It is due to be opened in November 2006 (this year). Greens and fairways will be kept well watered by a desalination plant fed from the sea, which is only 300 yds away.
Fishing can be done virtually anywhere as the sea is never to far away. From beach or rock casting to deep water boat fishing there is something for all tastes.
Water skiing, jet skiing are and boat hire are available, but not to the extent that they are a nuisance.
You can paraglide with an experienced instructor from high up on the mountains and all the Island can be seen from this flight. A must for adrenalin freaks.
There is a professional track on the outskirts of Nicosia. This can be hired for private functions.
There are several professional instruction schools and the scenery is outstanding with many excellently organised diving trips.
